THE EVALUATION ROOM The Evaluation Room is changing constantly by nature. This is where we switch out gear of all kinds, evaluating seemingly everything under the sun. The Evaluation Room is where we typically diagnose such things as system compatibility, room treatment and placement ideas, and overall opinions on the products we sell. On any given day, we're likely to have as many as four turntables and cartridges up and running; three phono stages; a couple of digital players and preamps; a few different power amp choices; and typically as many as 10 pairs of speakers, unboxed and ready to be easily switched into the system.
